Liposuction of the lower third of the face

Liposuction is aimed at eliminating excess adipose tissue in the chin area, which corrects (reduces) the cervical-chin angle and forms a clear contour of the face oval.

About the service

Many of our patients come to the office dissatisfied with the contours of their lower faces. They are concerned about either an unfortunate double chin or sagging and loose skin that makes them look much older than they are.

Fortunately, there is an option to help correct these defects - liposuction of the lower third of the face. We offer neck and facial liposuction at our clinic using advanced liposuction techniques to remove excess fat deposits and treat moderate signs of aging.

Modern liposuction techniques are used to remove excess fat in certain areas of the neck and face by stimulating the body's natural production of collagen and elastin. Unlike a traditional facelift, liposuction of the face and neck uses tiny micro incisions. This reduces risk, bruising, downtime, and visible scarring.

Removing excess fat on the face and neck with liposuction can help avoid or delay the need for facelift surgery. This minimally invasive treatment will rejuvenate your face, define a clearer contour, and lengthen your neck line.

Before your liposuction procedure, you will discuss with your surgeon what you can expect from the surgery. Your surgeon will review your medical history and ask questions about medications, supplements, or herbs you are taking. Your surgeon will recommend that you stop taking certain blood-thinning medications (citramon, aspirin) for at least three weeks before surgery. You may also need to undergo certain laboratory tests before the procedure.
02
Depending on the chosen operation and its complexity, the type of anesthesia will be selected and a consultation with an anesthesiologist will be scheduled. After a complete examination, you will be scheduled for surgery.
03
According to the operation, the sutures are removed on the 7th-10th day. Rehabilitation lasts from 1 to 3 weeks. Full recovery takes about 1-3 months. The plastic surgeon will give you recommendations for the recovery period immediately after the operation.
