Blepharoplasty

If you want to regain a younger and fresher look, you can consider eyelid surgery - blepharoplasty.

About the service

There are several types of such surgery.

One of them is upper blepharoplasty, which treats sagging upper eyelids, lower blepharoplasty, which removes bags under the eyes, and a combination of these two methods known as upper and lower blepharoplasty.

Upper blepharoplasty

The operation is performed on the upper eyelid. Indications for the operation: ptosis (drooping) of the upper eyelid, excess skin, correction of the ciliary margin, orbital hernias.

Lower blepharoplasty

The operation is performed on the lower eyelid. The surgeon moves and smoothes excess skin and fat under the eye, where bags often appear, removes fat hernias, and lifts the outer corner of the eye (if necessary, canthopexy).

Transconjunctival blepharoplasty

This is a lower eyelid blepharoplasty, some of which can be performed without cutting the skin and can therefore be “scarless”. If the purpose of the operation is primarily to remove excess lower eyelid fat and there is no need to remove the skin, then this can be done through a hidden incision on the inside of the lower eyelid. This is called the “transconjunctival” approach and is more commonly performed between the ages of 20-35.

01
Regardless of what type of eyelid surgery you need, you will first have a consultation with a plastic surgeon. At the end of the examination, the surgery technique is chosen, thanks to which the best results are achieved for your case. Then, tests are prescribed that will need to be taken in order to make sure that the operation is safe for you. At the same time, a consultation is necessary so that you can get all the necessary answers from a professional surgeon, both about the operation and its results.
02
You can undergo the examination prescribed by your doctor during the consultation in any laboratory convenient for you. Based on the results of the examination, the surgeon can set a date for the operation. But at the same time, by your characteristics, the doctor can prescribe the operation only after receiving the results of the examination.
03
If the surgery is performed under local anesthesia, you will have the opportunity to leave our clinic in a couple of hours. Provided that general anesthesia was used, you will have to stay in the postoperative ward of our clinic for another 1-2 days (depending on the surgeon's prescription).
