Blepharoplasty
About the service

There are several types of such surgery.
One of them is upper blepharoplasty, which treats sagging upper eyelids, lower blepharoplasty, which removes bags under the eyes, and a combination of these two methods known as upper and lower blepharoplasty.
Upper blepharoplasty
The operation is performed on the upper eyelid. Indications for the operation: ptosis (drooping) of the upper eyelid, excess skin, correction of the ciliary margin, orbital hernias.
Lower blepharoplasty
The operation is performed on the lower eyelid. The surgeon moves and smoothes excess skin and fat under the eye, where bags often appear, removes fat hernias, and lifts the outer corner of the eye (if necessary, canthopexy).
Transconjunctival blepharoplasty
This is a lower eyelid blepharoplasty, some of which can be performed without cutting the skin and can therefore be “scarless”. If the purpose of the operation is primarily to remove excess lower eyelid fat and there is no need to remove the skin, then this can be done through a hidden incision on the inside of the lower eyelid. This is called the “transconjunctival” approach and is more commonly performed between the ages of 20-35.
