The emergence of the Doctor Droga Center was preceded by many years of study and practice. As the head physician of the clinic, I have three medical specialties that allow me to perform the relevant surgeries. I am a surgeon of the highest category, and my qualification is confirmed by the Ministry of Health. The highest category is granted only if you have 15 years of experience in surgery. Taking into account the fact that most of the operations are performed on the face, I also have a specialty as an otolaryngologist, which is a mandatory criterion. So really, this profession, like most, definitely requires special attention and knowledge.
As a student at Poltava Medical Academy, I went all the way, starting with the simplest things. I worked as an ambulance attendant and a nurse in an ambulance and did an internship at a regional hospital. All of this was an invaluable experience: I was interested in the smallest details of my future profession, learned quickly, and always took responsibility for my work, so one day I was offered to assist in a private plastic surgery clinic in Poltava. This is what determined my further development as a plastic surgeon. It was blepharoplasty (surgery to reshape the eyelids). After the surgery, Ilya Yurievich Slyusarev looked at me and said: “You have to decide for yourself whether you like doing this or not.”
I was 25 years old at the time. I began to learn a new profession. Soon after, I was offered a position in a private clinic in Kremenchuk, and later in Kyiv. So for a long time, I worked for two cities at once, almost without days off. But I'm used to working hard, so it didn't scare me at all, on the contrary, I wanted to achieve more every time. The number of my patients grew quite quickly, and it was obvious that I was offered a job in another country. So I started working for two countries as well.
